PRIVACY POLICY

MAKASETE Inc (hereinafter referred to as "the Operator") establishes this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information, including personal information of users, in all services managed by the Operator and related to these services (hereinafter collectively referred to as "this Service").

Article 1 User Information Collected by the Operator

The user information that the Operator collects in this Service is as follows:

The Operator asks for the provision of certain email address information when a user creates an account for this Service.

2. Action information

The Operator collects information about user actions related to the use of this Service, along with the date and time.

3. Usage information of this Service

- Device information

The Operator may collect device information (OS, device identification information, computer name, etc.) used by the user.

- Log information

When a user uses this Service, information such as IP address, browser type, browser language, etc. is automatically generated and saved. In addition, the Operator may use technologies such as cookies and JavaScript to collect a user's behavioral history.

Note: This Service may use a technology called "cookies" to make it more convenient for users to use this Service. This records which page of this Service the user's computer has accessed, but unless the user enters their own personal information in this Service, the user cannot be identified or recognized. If you do not wish to use cookies, you can refuse to use cookies by changing the settings of your browser, but in that case, please note that you may not be able to use all or part of this Service.

Article 2 Purpose of Use of User Information

The Operator uses the collected user information for the following purposes:

1. To provide content customized for each user and deliver advertisements (including newsletters by email).

2. To respond to violations of the terms of use and other improper or unfair use of this Service.

3. To assist with data entry and other measures to ensure that users can use this Service smoothly.

4. To create statistical data related to the use of this Service.

5. To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification).

6. To announce information about this Service or advertising information where operators other than the Operator are advertisers.

7. To plan and provide new projects related to this Service in the future.

8. For billing processing during paid service use, etc.

9. For marketing research and analysis.

10. To make announcements related to this Service and to contact as necessary.

11. For other purposes incidental to the above usage purposes.

Article 3 Disclosure and Provision of User Information to Third Parties

1. The Operator does not provide the collected user information to third parties, except as provided in paragraph 2 of this article and in the following cases:

- When we have obtained prior consent to provide it to a third party.

- When based on the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws.

- When there is sufficient reason to judge that it is unavoidable to disclose user information within the necessary minimum range to protect the rights, property, and services of the Operator, etc., because the user violates the terms of use of this Service.

- When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.

- When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.

- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution or local public body or a person entrusted by them in performing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and there is a risk of interfering with the performance of the affairs by obtaining the consent of the person.

- When part or all of the handling of user information is outsourced to an external company based on a business consignment contract (including cases where information management and analysis are consigned to a consignee for the purpose of storing on a server and improving the quality of this Service). In this case, the Operator will conclude a contract regarding the handling of user information with the consignee and appropriately supervise the consignee to ensure the safe management of user information.

- When business succession is carried out due to merger, company split, business transfer, or other reasons.

2. The Operator may provide (ⅰ) specific technical information (including IP address, mobile terminal identifier), (ⅱ) statistical information that cannot identify individuals, and (ⅲ) information related to the use of services that cannot identify individuals to third parties.

3. The user agrees that the Operator or a third party may use such information for user trend analysis, demographic analysis, web analysis, and for providing advertisements called behavioral targeting advertisements to the user.

4. When providing to a third party based on the previous two paragraphs, the Operator will comprehensively consider the necessity of providing to the third party, the method of providing to the third party, the implementation status of safety management measures by the third party, and the relationship between the Operator and the third party (the relationship between the service provided by the Operator and the service provided by the third party, the presence or absence of a capital relationship, etc.), and carefully judge the impact on the customer's privacy, and provide it to the third party only within the necessary range.

Article 4 Disclosure of Personal Information

When the Operator is requested to disclose personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law from a user, the Operator will confirm that it is a request from the user himself/herself and disclose it to the user without delay (if the personal information does not exist, the Operator will notify the user to that effect). However, this does not apply when the Operator is not obligated to disclose under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws.

Article 5 Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.

When the Operator is requested by a user, (1) for correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") of the content of personal information on the grounds that the personal information is not true, based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, and (2) for suspension or erasure (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use, etc.") of the use of personal information on the grounds that the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use that has been publicly announced in advance or that it has been collected by deception or other wrongful means, based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, the Operator will confirm that it is a request from the user himself/herself, conduct necessary investigations without delay, and based on the results, perform correction, etc. or suspension of use, etc. of personal information, and notify the user to that effect (when the Operator has decided not to perform correction, etc. or suspension of use, etc., the Operator will notify the user to that effect). However, this does not apply when the Operator is not obligated to correct, etc. and suspend the use, etc. under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws.

Article 6 Information Security Management

The Operator takes necessary and appropriate measures for the prevention of leakage, loss, or damage, and other security management of the user information to be obtained.

Article 7 Revision of Privacy Policy

The Operator may revise this Policy to continuously improve the handling of user information. In the case of revisions that require the consent of the user under the law, the Operator will obtain the consent of the user by the method specified by the Operator.
